This bear is on it’s way to surprise a friend.\u00a0 I had to make sure I did not give it a name or it wouldn’t be going anywhere (ahem… See Luncheonmeat in the previous post…)!<\/p>\n

My third knit of MadManKnitting’s bear pattern, I wanted to experiment and see if helical knitting<\/a> would work with the pattern.<\/p>\n

Hell yeah it did!<\/p>\n

Some wonderfully loud yarn bought in Austria in 2017 (MotoGP trip… remember that Dovi\/Marquez battle?! Wow!) really makes it a zingy bear.<\/p>\n

Head and body in the round on dpns per the pattern, but also did the arms and legs in the round rather than flat. Ears are the only pieces done flat.<\/p>\n

Took about twice as long as doing single colour.<\/p>\n
